Route 66 logos to be stenciled along Huntington Drive, herea s why

To commemorate the city's 60th anniversary and in connection with the annual Route 66 parade this Saturday, several Route 66 logos will be painted along the famous highway on Huntington Drive. The Duarte City Council, Duarte Historical Society, will be joined by Senator Anthony Portantino and Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio, to dedicate one of the logos recently stenciled onto the famous road during a brief ceremony at 9:15 a.m. in front of the city's Plaza at 1553 Huntington Drive, before the 10 a.m. start of the parade.
