The Arizona Department of Transportation made history last week when it built and opened the state's first prefabricated bridge. The Oatman Highway bridge over Sacramento Wash, near Topock, was installed over a span of less than 96 hours between March 13 and March 16, after having been manufactured in Phoenix.
