A coalition of lawmakers, including the chairman of the Virginia General Assembly Commerce and Labor committee, said they will propose legislation that would help take the planned Dominion Power lines for the future Amazon data center underground. The legislation would give the commonwealth's corporation commission the ability to consider impact on home values and historic areas in deciding on best routes and whether lines should be buried.
